This environment allows children the security to grow into their full potential, mentally, physically, emotionally, and developmentally. We provide the children opportunities to socialize, co-operate, share, enjoy each other’s company and develop successful problem-solving skills.

At Blooming Mind Childcare, our purpose is deeply rooted in the belief that every child deserves a joyful, respectful, and meaningful start to life. We are here not just to supervise or instruct but to nurture, empower, and inspire. Childhood is a time of wonder, and we consider it a privilege to be part of those formative early years.
Our goal is to create an environment where children feel emotionally safe, intellectually stimulated, and socially connected. We strive to build a space that feels like an extension of the home, a place where laughter is frequent, imagination is celebrated, and curiosity is encouraged. Every interaction, activity, and routine is intentionally designed to promote the whole-child development & supporting not just cognitive learning, but emotional resilience, empathy, independence, and self-confidence.
What Makes Us
Special
All staff and management have certification that is accepted by the Alberta Government, current First Aid training, and a clear Criminal Record Check. Our staff are hired based on their experience, education, creativity and sense of play. Our Director has a gentle and loving manner and she gets to know each child and family as individuals. Our program co-ordinator has over 37 years of hands on experience in all areas of childcare. This team truly enjoys working with our families and children and always acts with respect to others.

A Warm, Welcoming Environment
Blooming Mind operates out of our bright, modern, single-floor bungalow. The main living space faces south, offering a sunny, cheerful atmosphere that children love. Our home is designed to encourage exploration:
- A dedicated play, learning, and craft area for preschoolers
- A homework and creative space for school-aged children
- A large, open-concept kitchen and living area for motor skill practice
- A spacious and safe backyard with opportunities for outdoor learning
Learning Through Nature
We like to take our classroom outside and we bring nature inside. Let’s do our story time while sitting on the steps or in the play yard. Let’s find natural items for open ended art. Let’s look at pictures of bugs and butterflies to see how many legs they have. We encourage a natural curiosity about our world and plan our curriculum accordingly. Your child will build a deep respect for the environment and a sense of responsibility.

With a passion for arts and crafts, I ensure every day is filled with creativity, imagination, and joy. From homemade sensory bins to seasonal crafts and themed activities, your child will engage in projects that support cognitive and emotional growth while having a ton of fun!
